Artspan’s Summit Structural Panels are self-framing, structural insulated steel panels that are manufactured by encompassing our proprietary polyisocyanurate foam with top and bottom pre-painted steel sheets. The strength of these steel sheets combined with the characteristics of our foam allow the panel to serve as a structural component of the building envelope.

Our Insulated Metal Panel Production Process
All panels from Artspan Inc. are manufactured in a controlled environment in Winkler, Manitoba using a continuous panel line for streamlined assembly.
Production process
1
Our panels are manufactured in a controlled environment using a continuous panel line.
2
Pre-painted galvalume top and bottom sheets are roll-formed to the desired profile, width and thickness.
3
Our proprietary polyisocyanurate foam is dispensed between the heated steel sheets, expanding and adhering to the steel while travelling through a temperature-controlled press.
4
The panels are then cut to length using an automated cross cut saw.
5
Additional custom cutting for window/door openings, roof pitch, gable ends, etc. can be completed.
6
Panels are then stacked, cooled, labelled and wrapped in preparation for transport.
